Maybe. It depends on what you want to do. Some things are just plain foolish. I'll be upfront with you.

Will you need an FM3?
Absolutely. But there are different kinds. I'll tell you which you need.

Should you incorporate?
Probably, though not necesarilly.

The list of what-ifs goes on and on. I will help you through the pros and cons. Some areas are more receptive to gringo businesses than others. Some businesses are doomed to failure, though technically you could start them.

This is the companion to the NE Mexico map if you are continuing south from San Luis Potosi as far as Queretaro or SW to Morelia / Patzcuaro or the state of Michoacán in general or SSW to Guadalajara. While Guadalajara is not included, most of the drive is. See for yourself before ordering.

This map is still being amplified, so it is discounted. It has all the roads and towns but few of the distances. It doesn’t have the special touches like side trips and hot springs yet. When that is done, it will be $6.95.

These 5 pages could save you a world of aggravation if you are driving to Belize or Guatemala. I tell you which crossing you may use and which one you HAVE to use under certain circumstances. Brownsville may not be your best choice.

Also, I tell you about a US requirement that, if you don't meet, you will pay a $500 fine and be delayed 3 days.
