Hermosillo Sonora RV and Trailer Park
Hermosillo is mainly a stopping place for RV'ers and those pulling trailers on their way south. Still, it is a good idea for RV'ers to stop in Hermosillo on their first night in Mexico to just relax after the drive from Nogales, Sonora. Why stress yourself?
I was very happy to hear from my old friend Fausto Garcia, the owner of the Sonora RV Park in Hermosillo. Here is what he has to say:

Hi, Mike, I hope you remember me! My name is Fausto Garcia, owner of the Sonora RV Park in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico 180 miles south from Nogales border. You were here when I started and hope to have you as my guest again.
Well this e-mail is to inform you of a few nice things that are happening, first of all i hope you remember that I was the former owner of the Kino Bay RV Park in Kino Bay so I have more than 30 years working with American and Canadian RV’ers.
Our park has improved due to the increase of RV’s and trailers arriving going south or coming back north. We went from 5 to 15 full hook ups and 3 with power only for motor homes pulling a car that do not want to unhook or back in.
The design of our park since the great majority are overnighters, is toward parking that you do not have to unhook your trailer from your car, the space are so long that you do not have the hassle of hooking next morning.

We improved to 100% coverage of free wi-fi all over the park. All spaces are 30 amps, and good water.
RV'ers are asking for information, so I’m working on getting information not only of Hermosillo, but will try and working on being the RV'ers information center for the pacific coast of Mexico. I tell them they should get your maps and road logs, if they do not have them already.
With my experience, and brochures maps that i will have here starting October ,2008 from the state of Sonora, state of Sinaloa, state of Nayarit, state of Jalisco, state of Guerrero, and their cities and destinations. Anybody can stop here and get free information.

For this matter I have being talking to the promotion department of the tourist department of each of the states mentioned to send me brochures and maps..(they like the idea very much) and at this time i have info and brochure, maps from Hermosillo, all of Sonora and Sinaloa on Mazatlan, Culiacan and Cosala.
Remember...we are located just one mile after the overpass going south as you come in to hermosillo on your right.
You are highly recommended by the great majority of rv'ers stopping here and telling me that i should contact and inform you about my project ... to become Mexico pacific coast rv'ers information center.
Gracias.... For every thing and if there is any thing i can do for you please let me know.......adios. Your Friend, Fausto.
