When I moved to Mexico, I have a lot of preconceived notions about how things work. One of those things was health insurance in Mexico. I had heard over the years about how cheap healthcare is in Mexico. I knew about medical tourism in Mexico, which is when someone goes to Mexico for a medical procedure because it is cheaper in Mexico than in their home country.
